Acupuncture during pregnancy is one of our specializations at East Bay Acupuncture. Prenatal acupuncture is safe and effective when performed by a prenatal acupuncturist. We are trained to avoid acupuncture points that are not used in pregnancy. Our Oakland acupuncturists have been supporting pregnant people collectively for decades and have extensive knowledge and training to offer you the prenatal support that you need in every trimester.

Acupuncture does not hurt though that doesn’t mean you wont feel anything. We liken the sensation of acupuncture to the tiniest pinch which goes away quickly after the needle is placed. Acupuncture treatments are very relaxing and our techniques are tailored to your comfort level and can be adapted to what a patient needs and wants.
