East Asian medicine transformed my life and led me to want to share it with others. I understand what it’s like to be in physical and emotional pain and not know where to turn. I’m grateful to be on the other side and get to share the amazing gifts of acupuncture and Chinese medicine with you. East Asian medicine’s thoughtful view of emotions and the mind, body, and spirit connection has always resonated deeply with me. Before discovering Chinese medicine, I studied and worked in the fields of psychology and social work.
My extensive training as a doula and advanced post-graduate fertility, prenatal, and birth education have laid the foundation for my integrative work. My training with renowned midwife Raven Lang has inspired my bustling prenatal practice. I have also worked extensively with Claudia Citkovitz, L.Ac., in labor and delivery acupuncture in New York and attended births in both hospital and home environments. I love supporting people throughout preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum.
In addition, I offer general health and wellness family care along with sports medicine. Many of my clients come to me for pain, chemo support, headaches, digestive issues, insomnia, and stress and anxiety. I love working with clients from teens to adults.
I am a nationally certified and California-licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. I received my Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
When I’m not working, I’m either hanging with my rescue pup, singing in the car, trying to get to the coast, eating something delicious & spending time with my partner and stepkids.
In addition to running East Bay Acupuncture for many years, I practice acupuncture in Sonoma County where I live. You can find me in Petaluma a few days a week at my sister practice, Nido Wellness.

My first introduction to integrative medicine came from my mother, who had used Peruvian herbal remedies alongside Western healthcare as I grew up, so incorporating integrative medicine into my own life came naturally. As I studied acupuncture and herbal medicine, I felt drawn to providing this medicine to others. I have used acupuncture and Chinese herbs for my and my family's healthcare for decades and am honored to work with patients seeking out this safe and effective medicine.
I am a California-licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, and I received my Master's and Doctorate at Five Branches University. Since starting my acupuncture career in 2007, I have worked extensively with individuals who are trying to conceive, pregnant, and those navigating the postpartum period. I received ABORM certification in reproductive medicine in 2018 and have supported women going through IVF while in private practice and IVF clinics in San Francisco. I am concurrently seeing patients at Kaiser Permanente for chronic pain and working to expand patient access to acupuncture. I also dedicate time to working at Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, providing low-income women with acupuncture and integrative cancer care.
These three paths in Chinese Medicine inform my practice today. I mainly see patients for fertility and reproductive health; pain, both acute and chronic; and cancer treatment side effects. I approach all of my patients with compassionate care and a warm heart and I look forward to partnering with you on your health journey.
Hablo español y puedo hacer consultas y tratamientos en español. I speak conversational Spanish and can conduct consultations and treatments in Spanish.
When I’m not in the clinic, I spend time hiking with my family in the Oakland hills, exploring the California coast and mountains, and tending to my vegetable garden and chickens.

I first learned about Traditional Chinese Medicine by experiencing its profound effects as a young adult for health issues when Western medicine alone provided no result. After personally experiencing acupuncture’s transformative benefits, I knew I wanted to help others the way I had been helped.
After spending several years pursuing music, I moved from my home in Philadelphia to California to study acupuncture. I attended Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College (AIMC) in Berkeley. As part of my studies at AIMC, I had the opportunity to study in Japan where I learned facial rejuvenation acupuncture as well as gentle needling techniques. While working in community clinics and private practices, I developed an interest in fertility and reproductive health. To gain more knowledge and expertise, I pursued my Doctorate at Five Branches University in San Jose focusing my studies on both.
I enjoy working with clients in all aspects of reproductive support including hormonal imbalances, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, menopause, mental health, and more. I also have extensive experience in orthopedics and pain management. Witnessing the powerful transformations and improved quality of life in clients reaffirms my dedication to this healing art. I was drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine's focus on the underlying causes of discomfort and disease, promoting overall health, and viewing the individual holistically rather than merely as a collection of symptoms.
Providing acupuncture is not just a profession for me; it’s a deeply fulfilling journey where I witness the transformative power of holistic healing. I find immense joy in being a catalyst for positive change in clients' lives. Moreover, my passion for this ancient healing art has ignited a desire to further my education, driven by a curiosity to explore new techniques and deepen my understanding of the intricate connection between the mind and body in pursuit of optimal health.
Outside the office, I can be found playing music, attending a concert, cooking, at the gym, or spending time with my puppy.

I was first introduced to East Asian medicine in my early 20s, and it has been an essential part of my life and healing ever since. After my first acupuncture treatment, I could feel profound energetic shifts, and I began to sense the power of this medicine. As a dedicated yoga practitioner, with over 10 years of teaching experience, my interest in the body and bioenergetics inspired me to study East Asian medicine and explore diverse approaches of healing and creating health. I am honored to share my understanding of this medicine with the community and to integrate the wisdom of this system with modern scientific research and principles of functional medicine to optimize mind, body, and spirit. I am passionate about working with you and providing support as we work together to improve your health and well-being — whatever your health goals may be.
I am a California board-licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. I completed my master’s and doctorate degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University. I specialize in the treatment of pain management and sports injury, sciatica, fertility, reproductive health, post-stroke rehabilitation, neurological disorders, digestive issues, stress, mood, and sleep regulation. I have worked extensively in post-stroke rehabilitation, incorporating acupuncture treatment with physical therapy to restore physical health and movement. I also work in an IVF clinic to provide acupuncture before and after embryo transfer. I am currently studying to take the ABORM exam.
During treatment, I use a variety of styles, including Master Tung, Zhu’s scalp acupuncture, the Balance Method, applied channel theory, pulse balancing, and facial acupuncture. I incorporate various modalities into each treatment, including cupping, massage, gua sha, electrical stimulation, medical qi gong, and light therapy to enhance treatment outcomes. I also provide lifestyle, exercise, and nutrition counseling to enhance the effect of treatment and help you to feel better in your everyday life.
In my free time, I love to be outside in the sun with my dog. I’m an avid trail runner, swimmer, and weight lifter — and I rely heavily on acupuncture to keep going. I enjoy backpacking, hiking, soaking in hot springs, and exploring California. For me, food is medicine; when I’m home, I’m typically in the kitchen or garden.
